This has been a Sydney car with the one owner for the past 6 years and comes with an extensive documentation folder. Documents provided with the car include the original Japanese auction condition sheet and export certificate. Upon arrival in Australia in 2014, detailed documentation of maintenance performed and parts replaced has been kept.

The M-Spec, named after Kazutoshi Mizuno who took over as chief engineer of the GT-R programme (and also chief engineer of the 2008 R35 GT-R) builds on the Series 2 V-Spec II model platform, adding unique M-Spec appointments including;
Cold weather package as standard
Ripple Control shock absorbers - The shocks feature a faster rebound rate, resulting in higher stability in high-speed corners and improved contact patch on less-than-perfect tarmac. Combined with the thicker rear anti-roll bar, provided a more stable and neutral ride for street/hills driving where surfaces were less predictable than on-track.
Reduced diameter (23mm) rear anti-roll bar (23mm vs 24.2mm on the BNR34 V-Spec front) to more closely match the front (22.2mm). This change together with the M-Spec shocks adjusted the handling characteristics to a more neutral feel, compared to the pro-oversteer nature of the V-spec models.
